After doing some research on the internet we have decided to test our luck with IUI. In the next cycle after having my follicular scan on the 10th, 12th-day doctor has said that we have to be ready for an IUI on the 14th day as the eggs are ready for the ovulation process.

We have followed everything which the doctor has prescribed and we were ready for the next big thing to happen in our life.

On the day of our IUI, we were very tense as we have never expected that we have to go through so much to have a baby.

The doctor has called inside for the IUI process and my husband was waiting outside to hear the news that the process has been completed. After waiting for 30 mins the doctor has called my husband inside and informed us that doctor has observed cervical stenosis, due to which even the cathedral is unable to get inserted so she said she has released the IUI sample near the entrance of the cervix. She said that if this cycle is unsuccessful then she would do cervix dilation on the 4th day of my next menstrual cycle.

We were very disappointed that nothing was going in our favor and much to our bad luck in the next cycle there was a complete lock-down in India and we have not consulted the doctor for the next 3 months.

After getting the situation normal in India we have again visited the doctor on the 4th day of the menstrual cycle and the doctor tried to dilate with the available cathedral but she was unsuccessful so she has referred to another doctor and there the cervix dilation has been completed.

So after the dilation, we have come to a conclusion that all these days I was not able to conceive because my cervix was narrow so we have decided to try another few months naturally thinking our problems have been solved.

But one thing good or bad we have come to know our problem while doing the process of IUI, though my first IUI was unsuccessful still we were happy that my cervix problem has been solved.

We were very thankful to the doctor who suggested an IUI.
